Tamburitza and me...  

     I started to play tamburitza in April 1994 when the orchestra of elementary school "Vjekoslav Klaic" in Garcin started to work. Reason because I started with music was something like "everybody do that, so I'll will also try". However, through the time great love occured to that Croatian traditional instrument. Band called "Arteski bunar" arised from the orchestra, and band was constituted of a few friend who were going in the same grade. Then we were children between 13-14, filled with stories about success, have practising very often. When we 1995 received invitation to play in Netherlands and Belgium, we have practising whole month before, two times a day. At that time, we learned about tamburitza more than someone for 5 years. We were trained, and that playing was a high quality considering that we were kids. We traveled a lot, had lot of  concerts, and all of them are noticed in diary. We have published album with 10 songs on it in edition of Croatia Records. We played in Germany in town Dresden and also in Slovenia in place Crnomelj. However, year 2000 was breakpoint. Than all of us picked up new ways and the band stopped with work.   

     As I said, I came to like tamburitza very much and couldn't stop to play so I started to play in the band called "Tkanica". With those guys I played a lot of concerts in few months, and then in the end of the summer desire occured for establishing a new band called with old name "Arteski bunar". And that's how it was, team worked very good for few months. In 2001 we were playing in Paris (France) party for Croatian people. After that party, we played few more concerts and the band was crumbled. The reason was that one member left the bend because he got better offer from the other band with more money, and I started to play in band called "Slavonska dusa" and playing there from the end of spring 2001 to nowadays.     

     Playing in that band I traveled much more than with other bands. We played in Austria and made friendship there so we traveled there few times, and we will go there again. Same thing is in Hungary when we played in one place near the state border with Austria. In Hungary we played in town Miskolc also, 200 kilometres far away from Budapest. In the beginning of February 2005 we played party in Paris (France), and that was my second visit to that France capital. I made a lot of photos there, and they can be seen in section
